Periodic emission measurements are the responsibility of the operator and user of the device that may contribute to the emission of substances into the air.
Measurements of pollutant emissions should check if the emission levels specified in the environmental protection law or in permits are not exceeded. These measurements should be made at the maximum load of the installation - under conditions that give rise to maximum emissions.
Periodic emissions measurement duty is included in the Environmental Protection Act, the integrated permit and the permit for the introduction of gases or dust into the air. They are also imposed by:
Rozporządzenie Ministra Środowiska z dnia 30 października 2014 r. w sprawie wymagań w zakresie prowadzenia pomiarów wielkości emisji oraz pomiarów ilości pobieranej wody.
This regulation is the main guideline defining the requirements for the emission measurements and the amount of water abstracted, to which the operators and the user of the device are obliged. It determines the cases when periodic measurements of emissions from installations, fuel combustion sources, waste incineration or co-incineration devices are required. The regulation includes information on the frequency of these measurements, the scope of their performance, reference methodologies and the way of their recording.
Employees of the Emission Measurement Laboratory WESSLING Polska have many years of experience and they care about good contact with the client. Knowledge of the current legal requirements, standards and guidelines as well as many theoretical and practical training that our staff undergo, including training from work at heights, allow us to adjust our services to customer requirements.
Periodic measurements of pollutant emissions from installations, devices and energy and technological emitters, including:
Measurements of air protection installations and devices effectiveness (desulphurization, denitrification, dust removal installations).
Pollutant emission measurements for the reporting systems and fees for using the environment (PRTR, KOBIZE and others).
