IED baseline reports and report for site closure

The initial report, which is a baseline report, it is a document, which presents the current state of the soil and groundwater at the site, where the operation of the installation begins.

This is one of the annexes to the integrated permit. It is done at the moment when there are circumstances, that the installation can lead to contamination of soil and groundwater on the premises of the establishment. A baseline report shall also be made for installations, which apply for a modification of their current integrated permit (e.g. extension of a plant). The initial report and its necessity are referred to the Act of 27 April 2001, the Environmental Protection Law (consolidated text: the Journal of Laws of 2016, item 672).
